In my teens and twenties it was part of the 3 step I used with Clinique. But I found it to be very drying at times. I mean I had and have dry skin. So when I was in my 30's I stopped and went back using them again. But I have learned alot when it came to them. Some are so drying with the alcohol and all the extra ingredients they put it in them. I really did not know what I was putting on my face. I do know some are really good for your skin for a refresher,antioxidants and ph balance. You should read your labels. Becareful what you put on your skin. This toner is very refreshing and comes in a spray. The ingredients are amazing. MSM,Vitamin C,Aloe and Witch Hazel. I sprtiz and tap it in. I do not use a cotton pad but at night after I take of my makeup. Just so I know I got every last bit of makeup off I use a cotton ball and spritz again. Very refreshing. Let me tell you a little about Witch Hazel. Witch hazel is an extract from the leaves and bark of the North American shrub Hamamelis virginiana. It has a long history in various folk medicinal treatments. According to Drugs.com, there are more than 30 traditional uses for witch hazel including hemorrhoids, burns, cancers, tuberculosis, colds and fever. Its primary use through the years has been for the treatment of skin conditions, and scientists are just now beginning to understand how it works and how it can benefit the skin.
