Matcha, Kale & Pear Smoothie

Photo: When you start like this it's hard to feel it's not going to be a great week. I love this recipe from Love and Lemons:

Matcha, Kale & Peach Smoothie

1 banana (freeze it in advance if you can remember)
1 cup almond milk
2 teaspoons Gotcha Matcha
2 leaves of kale, stems removed
1-2 ripe peaches (or pears)
1/2 teaspoon grated ginger
handful of ice

In a high speed blender, combine all ingredients. Blend until smooth.

non-banana option: replace the banana with 1/4 cup raw soaked (then drained) cashews, and extra almond milk.

1 banana, freeze it in advance in slices
1 cup of almond milk
2 t, Matcha
2 leaves of kale,stems removed
1-2 pears or peaches
1/2t grated ginger
handful of ice


In a high speed blender combine all ingredients till smooth.

Non banana option:  replace banana with soaked cashews(drained) and extra almond milk.
