3 Insane Kettlebell Workouts

Here was this week’s BCx Workout on LiveExercise.com. It was way more brutal than I thought – but using the proper weight is key. You want to use a heavy weight since it’s low reps, but don’t let the 8 reps fool ya! With no rest between exercises, this workout sneaks up on you fast! Have Fun! #1 CIRCUIT 8  Kettlebell Swings  (Hip Drive) 8  Push Ups 8  Squat Thrusts  (bottom half of the burpee) X 4 (NO REST – straight through) #2 CIRCUIT 8  Kettlebell Swings  (Hip Drive) 8  Thruster  (Squat & Press) 8  2-Count Mountain Climbers X 4 (NO REST – straight through) #3 CIRCUIT 8  Kettlebell Swings  (Hip Drive) 8  Heavy Pants  (with Squat – see video below) 4  Burpees  (4 reps since it’s a 4-count exercise) X 4 (NO REST -straight through) Sample video for heavy pants>>>>>> Now Repeat ALL Exercises 1 X through for 2 Full Rounds with NO REST. Chicken Adobo

Ingredients 4 lb bone-in, skin-on chicken thighs and/or legs 2 tbsp cooking oil ¾ cup  soy sauce ½ cup  cane vinegar  or white vinegar ½ cup  sake  or water 1 tbsp  fish sauce 3 tbsp sugar or RAW honey or Agave or monkfruit ⅓ cup chopped garlic zest from 1 lime or lemon 4 bay leaves ½ tsp black pepper chopped green onions and cilantro for garnish, optional Instructions Heat a large dutch oven or a dip pan over medium high heat and add the cooking oil. Place chicken thighs, skin side down. Cook for 6 to 7 minutes or until chicken skin is golden brown and crispy. Meanwhile, let’s make the sauce!  In a mixing bowl, combine soy sauce, vinegar, sake, fish sauce, sugar, chopped garlic, lime zest, bay leaves and black pepper. Stir until sugar is all melted. Flip over the chicken and tap out about half amount of the fat from the bottom of the pan. If you want to keep the chicken fat, go ahead and spoon it out and save it for later use! Ingredients Recipe makes 8 Servings 1 Tbsp mayonnaise 1/4 cup(s) H‑E‑B That Green Sauce, mild or medium 1 Tsp fresh garlic, finely minced 1 Tbsp fresh cilantro, finely chopped 1 Tbsp olive oil 1 1/2 Lb Mi Tienda Seasoned Diced Skinless Chicken Thighs 8 H‑E‑B Street Taco Tortillas 1 Oz baby spinach 1/2 cup(s) frozen sweet corn, thawed 1 Lb avocado, cubed Instructions      1 Whisk mayonnaise, green sauce, garlic and cilantro together in a small bowl.
