My Apple Butter

Apple butter

10 Large Apples (Golden Delicious and Red Delicious)
3/4 Cup Stevia or RAW honey or organic RAW brown sugar(I used honey and RAW sugar)
1 Tbsp Vanilla Extract
1 Tsp Ground Cloves
1 Tsp Nutmeg
2 Tsp Ground Cinnamon
A couple of squeezes of lemon
1 stick of butter cutup and mixed with the apples. I used Kerrygold unsalted.

Core, cut and skin apples. Place apple wedges,butter and lemon. into 6/6.5 qt crockpot, and add vanilla. Cook on low for 8 hours. Mash with a fork, or handheld blender.   Add the sugar and spices, and cook on low for another 6 - 15 hours or until desired consistency is reached. Store in the fridge for best flavor and longest lasting product.
