Original V8 Juice

Ingredients

  • Carrots - 2 large (7-1/4" to 8-/1/2" long) 
  • Celery - 3 stalk, large (11"-12" long) 
  • Cucumber - 1/2 cucumber (8-1/4") 
  • Parsley - 2 handful
  • Pepper (sweet green) - 1/2 medium (approx 2-3/4" long, 2-1/2" dia) 
  • Spinach - 1 cup
  • Tomatoes - 3 medium whole (2-3/5" dia)

Directions

Process all ingredients in a juicer, shake or stir and serve.Squeeze of lemon and dash of sea salt.
  • Antioxidants
    The flavonoids in parsley—especially luteolin—have been shown to function as antioxidants that combine with highly reactive oxygen-containing molecules (called oxygen radicals) and help prevent oxygen-based damage to cells. In addition, extracts from parsley have been used in animal studies to help increase the antioxidant capacity of the blood.
