Using drinks, like a weight loss smoothie, to help assist you in maintaining your weight works great.
Not only are these healthful, they are super yummy too.
Smoothies are a great way to lose weight and people use this as a tool all the time to shed a few pounds..
They are low calorie, and if done right, can easily replace a meal while offering lots of nutrition.
For these reasons alone, people often use smoothies to maintain their weight or to lose pounds. Why not try it? It's so easy and yummmy!
Here are some of my favorites. Try to replace them for your breakfast meal or for a snack.




Orange Papaya Passion Fruit

1/2 cup of water
1 orange
½ lime
1 medium papaya
1 passion fruit


Juice the orange and lime. Place papaya (deseeded and chopped), water, passion fruit and juice in blender. Blend together until smooth. 

Orange Carrot Banana

1/2 cup of water
1 orange
1 carrot
½ banana
1 dried apricot

Juice the carrot and orange, add to blender with banana, water and apricot. Process until smooth. 

Red Smoothie

1 cup of water or almond milk
2 bananas
2 handfuls of raspberries
1/3 cup of cranberry juice (fresh is best, but store bought is okay) 

Place all ingredients in a blender and process until smooth. Serve immediately. 

Strawberry Peach

2 handfuls of strawberries
3 peaches
Juice of one lime
A few tablespoons of orange juice

Place all ingredients in a blender and process until smooth. Serve immediately. 

Raspberry Orange

1 handful of raspberries
2 oranges
4 tablespoons of natural yogurt
1/2 cup of water
2 tablespoons of honey

Place all ingredients in a blender and process until smooth. Serve immediately.

Orange Nectarine

2 oranges, juiced
4 nectarines
a few ice cubes
Enough water to make it blend

Place all ingredients in a blender and process until smooth. Serve immediately. 

Spicy Grapefruit Pineapple

2 grapefruits
½ pineapple
¼ inch of gingerroot
5 ice cubes
Water to make it blend

Place all ingredients in a blender and process until smooth. Serve immediately. 

Berry Green

1 cup of frozen berries 
½ cup of fresh spinach
1 cup of water
¼ inch of fresh gingerroot

Place all ingredients in a blender and process until smooth. Serve immediately.
