Yummy Homemade Healthy Salad Dressings
Andy’s Homemade Asian Dressing
Mix up a few tablespoons of soy sauce with vinegar, chopped garlic, a handful of parsley, and sesame seeds. Drop in a few drops of sesame seed oil for flavor, and complete the dressing with olive oil.
Whole Avocadoes
It’s not really a salad dressing, but it does wonders to make your salad richer and creamier. Slice up half an avocado, mix it into your salad, and pour a bit of olive oil and lemon juice. Add salt and pepper, and you’re done!
Balsamic Dressing
Olive oil, balsamic or red wine vinegar, and plenty of salt and pepper make a supremely simple yet highly delicious spritz for your salads.
Citrus Dressing
Run an orange through the juicer, and add a pinch of salt, pepper, and orange zest into a bowl with olive oil. It makes a very light, very tangy dressing that goes nicely with lettuce-heavy salads.
Yoghurt Delight
I just whipped this up for the first time on the weekend, and LOVED IT!
Mix a few tablespoons of yoghurt with milk to make it creamy, and add A LOT of garlic and onions to give it a “sour cream dip” flavor. Add a bit of soy sauce and vinegar, and pour over any meaty salad for a tasty treat!
