Chocolate Chia Smoothie!

1 frozen banana
1 cup raw almond milk
2 TBS raw almond butter
1 TBS raw cacao powder
1 TBS. Chia seeds
A lot of ice!!

Blend and enjoy!!
Choose Chia!!

Great for inflammation
Fiber! Fiber Fiber! Great for digestion
Lowers Cholesterol
Great source of Omega 3 and Omega 6
Fabulous energy source

In 2 TBS. of chia seeds you have:
5 times the amount of calcium than milk
3 times the amount of antioxidants than blueberries
3 times the amount of iron then spinach
2 times the amount of potassium than a banana

Here is a great recipe for chocolate chia smoothie! Otherwise we add chia into quinoa dishes, soups and salads, and of course the lovely chia pudding! (recipe posted earlier this month)
