Exfoliate with Clearista

There’s no denying that a little judicious cell-shedding now and again makes your skin look and feel better. Unfortunately too many “experts” suffer from exfoliation exaggeration, claiming that it tightens sagging skin, removes wrinkles, eradicates sun and age spots, and makes your skin glow. No surprise this leads to excessive exfoliation.
While exfoliation is a good skin care tool, overdoing it creates sensitized, dry, dehydrated skin and worst of all, skin that’s more susceptible to sun damage. A little lesson in the physiology of skin will help explain why. And the do’s and don’ts will help you exfoliate wisely.
The physiology of exfoliation
We all exfoliate naturally, shedding millions of dead skin cells daily. Approximately every 28 days, the top layer of skin (consisting of keratinous cells held together by lipids—think of roof tiles and grout) is sloughed off and replaced by new fresh cells. This top layer is your environmental protection barrier and it has a heavy-duty workload. It protects you from climate, sun and microbial assault and is responsible for holding in moisture. With all of these duties, it’s no wonder that after a short time the skin’s top layer starts to show wear and tear— making skin appear blotchy and rough in texture.
Aging doesn’t help matters. That’s because as we age and get exposed to the elements, our skin becomes drier and duller. When you’re young, your cell turnover rate keeps the top layers fresh, but as one gets older, the turnover rate slows down, from a normal of 28 days to 45 or even 50.
Than comes a gentle everyday exfoliant called Clearista Retexturizing Gel.
Clearista Retexturizing Gel is the perfect combination of beauty and science. It’s safe, effective, easy to use, and paraben free. Clearista will help you look as young as you feel by helping to smooth the skin, and reduce the appearance of age and sun-related folding/wrinkling. You’ve only got one life, and you should look gorgeous while living it.
Clearista Gel contains a patented formula plus mild, biodegradable jojoba beads to achieve the effects often contributed to moisturizers, scrubs, and serums. If you’re looking for something to add a little oomph and get a little glow back, then Clearista is for you. Clearista fits in well with your established skincare routine so there’s no need to retire your tried and true products.
Clearista uses an innovative approach called Targeted Corrective Resurfacing to aid in your skin’s natural exfoliation process. This formula hydrates, softens and smoothes the skin with almost immediate results and gel doesn’t use shortcuts like oils or silicone.
With frequent use, Clearista Retexturizing Geleffectively reduces the appearance of a wide range of skin imperfections, such as:
– Rough, dry, or dull skin
– Rough or dry patches, including roughness on the hands or elbows
– Rough chicken skin bumps on the face, arms, legs, and backside
– Small white, pigmented or flesh-colored bumps on the arms or face
– Dark spots
– Skin Bumps (Keratosis Pilaris)
HOW TO USE:
At Night is the best time. It is very gentle to use in the morning. But I had beads I could not completely get off my face when I put on my creams and  makeup. And at night your face does an amazing cell turnover so it is best. I would take all makeup off. Double cleanse than use a small amount to warm water and massage in circular motions on your face, neck and chest. I do use a much more extreme one once a week and once a month I do a microdermabrasion. My skin is so dry. And this works for me.  But if you have sensitive skin this retexturizing gel is perfect. Also great for acne prone skin.
