If you've used oil to remove makeup before you'll be in for a surprise. We've tested ours against some of the best selling brands of oil cleansers out there like DHC, Shu Uemura, Boscia, Shiseido etc... and ours is just as good if not better. If you've never used oil to remove makeup before, don't worry, LAVO's Deep cleansing oil will emulsify...what does that mean? On contact with water, it will instantly turn milky white and dissolve. It's actually quite cool when you see it.

The oil will break up just about everything, like foundation, sunscreen, bb cream, and especially waterproof mascara. Contrary to what you might imagine, your skin will not be a greasy mess after you rinse off. No thin film of oil. None. Zero. Your skin will actually be really quite soft and very smooth. 

Lastly, the makeup remover is very powerful but very gentle at the same time... no stinging, no burning, no scrubbing. Just massage your face with your fingers and watch your makeup literally melt away. Safe and effective for all skin types...yes even oily skin.

MY REVIEW:

I love a good facial cleansing oil. They are all the rage right now. But you have to be really careful and read the ingredients. Some of these oils have mineral oil in them. A clogging oil. Or petroleum in them. Plus hydrogenated. Which has been genetically modified and not from the real source of the plant. This has such great oils in it. Chamomile is amazing for inflammed skin with its calmin properties. The rest of the oils combined make a milky cleanser when used with water. I took off my mascara easily with this. I have a makeup remover I use with my makeup remover cloths. (so I don't get makeup stains on my wash cloths.) So I removed the rest of my makeup and than added the oil with baking soda to my Clarisonic and I just loved how soft and glowy my skin was. I love this facial cleansing oil. I give it a BIG BEAUTY 10!
