Onsen Tamago (Hot Spring Eggs)

  INGREDIENTS 2   large   eggs   (at room temperature) 1   green onion   (thinly sliced) Sauce 1/3   cup   water   (80ml) 1/8   tsp   dashi 1   tbsp   mirin 1   tbsp   soy sauce pinch of swerve INSTRUCTIONS   Heat up a small saucepan of water (sufficient to submerge eggs) to approximately 168˚F to 170˚F (75˚C to 77˚C). At that temperature, you should see tiny bubbles in the water. Turn off the stove but leave the saucepan on the heated element. Gently lower eggs with a ladle into the warm water. Do not cover saucepan. Set timer to 11 minutes. After 6 minutes, water temperature would have dropped to about 166˚F (74˚C). Cover the saucepan with lid and continue to leave it on the heated element. After 11 minutes, remove eggs with ladle into a bowl of cold water to stop the cooking.   The timer will be on for 2 minutes 30 seconds per complex with 30 seconds rest inbetween each complex! There will only be 2 exercises within each complex and each exercise will be performed for different reps from x 10 to x20! Some of the exercises will involve 2 x dumbbells, others 1 x dumbbell and some bodyweight only! For this lower body workout, you will need some dumbbells, your mat and a yoga block or thick book etc to elevates feet & heels! The dumbbell I am using primarily at the beginning is 1 x 25kg. I then use 2 x 12.5 kg as we progress through the workout!   2 Chaffles 1 tablespoon  Blueberry Compote 1 ounce Wisconsin Brie, sliced thin 1 tablespoon  Kerrygold butter Chaffle Ingredients 1 egg, beaten 1/4 cup mozzarella, shredded 1 teaspoon  Swerve  confectioners 1 tablespoon cream cheese, softened 1/4 teaspoon  baking powder 1/2 teaspoon  vanilla  extract Blueberry Compote Ingredients 1 cup blueberries, washed Zest of 1/2 lemon 1 tablespoon  lemon juice , freshly squeezed 1 tablespoon  Swerve  Confectioners 1/8 teaspoon  xanthan gum 2 tablespoons water Instructions Mix everything together. Cook 1/2 batter for 2 1/2- 3 minutes Repeat. Let cool slightly on a cooling rack. Blueberry Compote Instructions Add everything except  xanthan gum  to a small saucepan. Bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer for 5-10 minutes until it starts to thicken. Sprinkle with  xanthan gum  and stir well. Remove from heat and let cool.   So, my husband brought home the COVID variant. He caught it from his companies coworkers. Tested positive. I knew I would get it. I had COVID when it first came out before it was a pandemic. I was sick for a whole month lost my taste and smell for months. Than, I figured out it was COVID. But hey I did my holistic treatments and I got through it. Now I was able to rid it with supplementation and this amazing soup. Great when you are fighting the flu. We are great now. Sick for only 2 days. Paleo Chicken Soup

INGREDIENTS 2–3 lb chicken thighs, breast, or a whole chicken 4 cups organic chicken broth 6 cups water 1/2 cup onion, chopped 1 tsp fresh ginger, grated 3–4 cups carrots, chopped 2–3 cups celery, chopped 6–8 garlic cloves, minced 1 tsp ground turmeric 1 head of cauliflower 1 tsp fish sauce 1/2 Tbsp basil 1/2 Tbsp parsley 3 Tbsp coconut aminos 1.5 tsp sea salt, more or less to taste 1/4 tsp black pepper, more or less to taste INSTRUCTIONS Fill a large pot with water. Add the chicken and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for about 30 minutes or until fully cooked through. Remove the chicken and set aside. While the chicken is cooking, you can cut up the vegetables. Add the broth and 6 cups of the water the chicken was cooked into a large stock pot. Add the onions, ginger, carrots, celery, garlic, and turmeric. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to medium and cook, covered, for about 10 minutes.   🍀 Vegetarian Japchae Ingredients For the Shiitake 10 to 12 dried shiitake mushrooms 1 tbsp soy sauce 1 tbsp RAW honey 1/2 tbsp sesame oil 1/2 tbsp mirin (Seasoned rice wine, if you don’t have it, leave it out) 1 clove of garlic, chopped A pinch of black pepper For the Vegetables & Noodles 12 oz spinach (1 large bunch), cleaned 1 clove of garlic, chopped 14 to 16 oz Korean sweet potato noodle, Dangmyeon 1/2 medium-size onion, thinly sliced 8 oz fresh mushrooms, cut into bite sizes 1 yellow bell pepper, julienne 1 medium-size carrot, julienne 1 red chili, seeded and julienne, optional salt and avocado oil For the Sauce ⅓ cup soy sauce ⅓ cup sugar or agave nectar or RAW honey 2 tbsp sesame oil 2 tbsp sesame seeds 1/2 tsp black pepper INSTRUCTIONS Soak shiitake in hot water for 20 minutes or until softened. Household Uses For Coconut Oil

  1) ENHANCING BATH TIME Try adding between 1/4 – 1/2 cup of coconut oil + 1 cup of epsom salts + a few drops of essential oils to the bath before getting in… you won’t regret it. 2) SHAVING CREAM I recommend using a plastic container for this in case it gets slippery. Broken glass in a slippery shower/bathtub is a dangerous mess you do not want to have to deal with. 3) BODY SCRUB Mix 1 part sugar + 1 part coconut oil (+ a few drops of essential oil optional). Again, I recommend storing this in a plastic or rust-resistant metal container if it’s going to live in your shower! 4) LIP MOISTURIZER There are  coconut oil lip balm recipes  that recommend melting coconut oil with things like beeswax and/or shea butter but I have had good experiences keeping plain coconut oil in a tiny jar (an old Younique eyeshadow pot that I repurposed) in my purse and dab it on when my lips are a little dry. 5) UNDER EYE MOISTURIZER I have also had good results using  avocado oil for under eye moisturizer .
