Chicken Club Wrap

As good as the sandwich from your favorite diner, with none of the guilt! Ingredients:   3 large lettuce leaves 1 cup cooked chicken (leftovers is best here!), chopped into bite-size pieces ½ cup sliced red pepper 1 plum tomato, sliced ½ avocado slice of cheddar 1 tbsp mayonnaise If you have it on hand, feel free to add in some bacon Method: Wash and pat dry the large lettuce leaves. In the center of each leaf, pile all of the ingredients. Top with a dab of mayonnaise, wrap up and enjoy!

Day 26 of EPIC | Dumbbell Full Body Strength Workout

You can hold dumbbells by your sides or lifting up infront of shoulders during lunges etc depending on your grip and forearms if and when they need relief! Treat each move individually... particularly the second complex where we lean forward for 2 x rows, then upright position for 2 x curls. Pause as and when you need to! Though try not to drop this dumbbells the entire time!!😁 We will finish with a one minute push up on the dumbbells to sumo stand! Ingredients Ground Beef Taco Meat 1   pound   lean ground beef 2   tbsp   homemade taco seasoning 2   tbsp   tomato paste 1/2   cup   beef broth 1/2 can green chilies 1/2 onion chopped salt and pepper to taste 1   cup   cheddar cheese   (divided use) "Cornbread" Base 1   cups   Part Skim Mozzarella Cheese, shredded   (cheddar, Monterey Jack or pepper Jack) 2   cups   almond flour 2   ounces   cream cheese   (softened in microwave) 3   large   eggs 1   tbsp   baking powder 1/4   tsp   Amoretti Sweet Corn Extract   (OPTIONAL) Instructions Ground Beef Taco Meat In a cold pan, set over medium heat, break up and cook the ground beef, and onion until very fine. Add the taco seasoning, tomato paste,green chilies and beef broth, cooking until much of the liquid is absorbed. Taste and adjust seasonings per your liking and allow to cool a little. Day 23 of EPIC | Glutes and Abs Workout

You will need 2 dumbbells, or 1 heavier dumbbell or kettlebell! Also a mat and a chair for the hip thrusts. If using a solid base chair, place a towel on it to soften the surface for upper and middle back during thrusts. Ankle weights are completely optional and can be worn during the glute activation at beginning of glute part of workout. A band is also optional. I will be wearing a band for some of the exercises however can alternative will be provided if not wearing a band. The timer will be on for 1 minute no rest during the 15 minute abs routine at the beginning. Once we move to glute activation, the timer will be 45 seconds of work, followed by 15 seconds either pulse or hold or 1/2 reps of previous movement! Once we move to the dumbbell part, the rest will be 15 seconds following each 45 seconds exercise. Of course this will all be on the screen for you to simply follow along! Cabbage Salad & Seared Crab Cakes

Crunchy cabbage offers fiber, flavor, and antioxidants. When topped with quick lump crab cakes, you’re getting an elegant meal that is also healthy and delicious. Use a combination of green and purple cabbage for the most nutrients. Ingredients: 1 cup shredded green cabbage 1 cup shredded purple cabbage 2 tablespoons soy sauce Juice of 1 lime 1 teaspoon sesame oil 1 tablespoon sesame seeds 1/2 pound crab meat, picked over 2 tablespoons bread crumbs(gluten free or almond meal) 1 tablespoon mayonnaise 1 teaspoon Old Bay seasoning 1 egg 1 tablespoon olive oil Directions: Combine the cabbage, soy sauce, lime juice, sesame oil, and sesame seeds in a large bowl. Set aside. Combine the remaining ingredients except the olive oil in a large bowl. Mix until well combined. Form into 4 to 6 small cakes. Heat a large skillet over medium high heat. Add the olive oil, followed by the crab cakes. Cook until browned on both sides. Serve the crab cakes on top of the cabbage salad.  

Day 22 of EPIC | Dumbbell Shoulders & Core Workout

This shoulder and core workout comprises of supersets with 45 seconds of work, followed immediately by another 45 seconds of work and finally 30 seconds rest. We repeat each superset twice before moving onto next! I do say in the supersets to go immediately into the next exercise however please don’t rush. It may take afew extra seconds to get into position etc so please ensure you don’t worry to much about being ready as soon as beeper goes! Below are the supersets to be completed twice! Homemade Milk Bath

Powdered milk is the secret ingredient in this easy, 3-ingredient milk bath detox recipe — use powdered  coconut milk  for an even better-smelling version. Add your favorite  essential oil   for added benefits and yummy scents. HOW TO MAKE A MILK BATH To make your milk bath combine the milk, baking soda, and cornstarch in a 2:1:1 ratio.  So if you used 1 cup of powdered milk you’d use ½ cup of baking soda and ½ cup of cornstarch.  I make mine in mason jars so I eyeball it in the jar then close the jar and shake it to mix it up! ADDING SCENT TO A MILK BATH If you’d like to add a scent add 5-10 drops of the essential oil of your choice (I use only Young Living Essential Oils) after mixing the powders and shake again. Lavender, Peppermint, or Citrus would be great options. If adding essential oils, allow the milk bath to sit 24 hours before using to let the scent blend into the mixture. Grilled Salmon w/ Avocado Salsa

  Ingredients US | METRIC 2 SERVINGS 2 pieces of salmon 1 / 2   teaspoon  salt 1 / 2   teaspoon  ground cumin 1 / 2   teaspoon  paprika powder 1 / 2   teaspoon  onion powder 1 / 2   teaspoon  black pepper 1   tablespoon  olive oil 1   avocado  (sliced) 1 / 2   red onion  (small, sliced) 2   limes 1   tablespoon  cilantro  (chopped) 1   pinch  salt Instructions Mix the salt, chili powder, cumin, paprika, onion and black pepper together. Rub the salmon fillets with olive oil and this seasoning mix. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes. Chop the avocado, onion, lime juice, and cilantro. Chill until serving time. Pre-heat the grill. Grill the salmon to desired doneness. (I grilled for about 5 minutes) Top with avocado salsa and enjoy!
