But with the right winter makeup routine , a dull, lackluster complexion can look radiant and hydrated . From swapping out mattifying powders for hydrating liquid products and adding in anything that promises a luminious complexion , learn how to revamp your routine for the season in three steps below.

STEP 1: Replace Mattifying Powders With Radiance-Boosting Liquids and Creams

Set your loose powders and mineral makeup aside until summer because right now, your skin needs all of the moisture it can get. That means reaching for a hydrating primer to start and following up with a foundation or BB cream that will give your skin an instant pearly glow. STEP 2: Experiment With Sparkly Makeup

This can mean neutral or bright colors, cream or powder shadows — the choices are endless. Two hydrating lipsticks that I love are the  L’Oréal Paris Colour Riche Shine Lipstick. For a glossy finish, try the MOODSTRUCK HOTTIE lip plumper. It’s formula is made with , hyaluronic acid and a 2oil complex and Portulaca Pilosa Extract is a skin conditioner to offer the moisturizing care of lip gloss. Another stand by and cheap but with a hint of color is Maybelline's Baby Lips.
