MY REVIEW:
Almond flour has been a big part of my diet. It is very tricky when getting use to using it correctly. It is not like wheat flour at all. This came in a huge bag. I finally got it and made a banana breakfast mug cake. Soo delish. I also use it in my meatballs as a filler and as a breading for cutlets. I make cakes and cookies too. I love almond flour and the health benefits are amazing. Here below are some great recipes to try:
Cinnamon Maple Waffles
INGREDIENTS
3/4 cup Almond Flour
2 large Eggs...whisked
1 tbs Maple Syrup
1 tsp Tapioca Flour
1 tsp Cinnamon
1 tsp Vanilla
1/4 tsp Baking Soda
1/8 tsp Salt
2 large Eggs...whisked
1 tbs Maple Syrup

1 tsp Cinnamon
1 tsp Vanilla
1/4 tsp Baking Soda
1/8 tsp Salt
Sift all dry ingredients. Add in wet ingredients. Mix well. Cook in greased waffle iron. Easy peasy.
Paleo Pumpkin Bread
Ingredients
- ½ pound (225 g) pumpkin, sliced
- 1 tbsp (15 ml) ground cinnamon
- 1 tbsp (15 ml) lemon zest
- 2 tbsp coconut oil
- 3 tbsp honey
- 2 tbsp cocoa
- 1 ½ cup almond flour
- 3 eggs
- 1 tsp baking powder
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F. Place the pumpkin in a microwave safe dish and cover with plastic wrap tightly. Microwave on high for 8 minutes. Transfer cooked pumpkin to a blender or a food processor and puree. Add the eggs, honey, coconut oil, lemon zest and cinnamon and puree until smooth.
- Add the almond flour and baking powder and combine. Divide the mixture between 2 bowls. Stir the cocoa powder into the mixture in one of the bowls.
- Line loaf pan (8.5 x 4.5'') with baking paper. Place alternate spoonfuls of the chocolate and pumpkin batters into the prepared pan. Bake for 40-50 minutes. Use a toothpicks to test readiness. Leave to cool in the pan before serving.
