How To Fix Broken Lipstick

Hi everyone,

Raise your hand if you’ve ever opened your lipstick only to find it broken or melted in half!  Chances are, a good number of you have experienced this – I definitely have.  It’s the worst feeling, especially if it’s a lipstick you splurged on or just bought.  Lucky for you, there’s a SUPER easy fix for this.  I’ve used it to save many a tube, so hopefully you’ll be able to save your beloved lipstick too :)

How to Fix a Broken Lipstick 

Materials:Lighter or match

Instructions:

1.) Using a match or lighter, gently melt the top layer of lipstick that is still attached to the tube

2.) Place the broken end on top of the melted base

3.) Use a match or lighter to melt the outer edge for extra hold and security. This will also create a more seamless look

4.) Place in the refrigerator to cool down and set for 15-30 minutes

5.) Remove the lipstick and smooth out any lumps with your fingers

Voila – like brand new! ^_^
