Oats and Coffee Body Scrub

a3Derived from oat grass, oatmeal has been a staple in many kitchens for hundreds of years now. It is usually cooked into a gruel, sprinkled with sugar and eaten for breakfast. Oatmeal has also made its way into our baked goods and snack bars. Eating a regular supply of oats can fill the body with vital goodness such as fiber, calcium, omega3 and other vitamins and minerals. Oatmeal is also beneficial when used externally – it has the ability to sooth itchy and irritated skin, soften rough spots, as well as exfoliate and cleanse. The body scrub below pairs oatmeal with coffee and honey to create a paste that can encourage soft, trouble free skin.
