How does it work?
Branched-chain amino acids stimulate the building of protein in muscle and possibly reduce muscle breakdown. Branched-chain amino acids seem to prevent faulty message transmission in the brain cells of people with advanced liver disease, mania, tardive dyskinesia, and anorexia.
MY TAKE:
I take 4 before my workout like 20 minutes. I workout 2x a day. A HIIT or Tabata in the morning and than later in the afternoon I take 4 more before my workout with weights at the gym. This is what best works for me. My off days I still take them but only 4 in the middle of the day. I like to keep my muscle especially doing sprints when I do them. BCAA's are a big part of my training and when I am fasting they are a must!! I do not want to lose any muscle. Especially that I am getting older. I wish there was less to take. But it is a big bottle. And all depends on your weight . My husband has to take like 6 each time. There is no other way but to drink them and all the ones i have consumed are HORRIBLE. And the chewables I would have to chew 5-6 which are rough. I personally am better at taking pills. The price for such a great big bottle is well worth it. And no added fillers. When it comes to supplements in the fitness industry All most all have them. I call it "fairy dust" or saw dust. Which you really don't need. This is a great brand.
