Blueberry Pinapple Dessert

Pineapple Blueberry Dessert
Ingredients:
18 oz of FRESH blueberries (Cheri said to cover the entire bottom of the pan….this took a little more than two containers)
20 oz. can of crushed pineapple (do NOT drain)
1 box of yellow cake mix(gluten free)
1 1/2 sticks of butter, melted
1. Rinse your fresh blueberries and lay them out on a paper towel to dry.
Place the blueberries in a 9 x 13 pan.
(Don’t forget to pat dry as much as possible, or excess water will get in the bottom of the pan).
2. Top with crushed pineapple and spread it evenly over the top.
3. Sprinkle the dry cake mix over the top of the pineapple.For added sweetness you can top the cake mix with 1/4c RAW sugar or honey.
Pat the cake mix down lightly.
4. Slowly drizzle the melted butter on top of the cake mix.
Bake at 350 degrees for 40 min.
It will be a golden brown on top when it is done.
It can be served warm or chilled.
Cheri likes to serve it with Amaretto Whipped Cream.
