Pork Instant Pot Pork Tacos
How to Serve
After shredding the pork, make tacos and serve as a complete meal. I like to use corn tortillas to eat these tacos, but flour tortillas will work, too.
You can also serve it with:
- Pico de Gallo
- Guacamole
- Lime wedges
- Chopped cilantro
- Sliced radishes
Ingredients
- 2 tablespoon avocado oil
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar (monkfruit)
- 1 tablespoon salt
- 1 tablespoon garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon smoked paprika
- 2 tablespoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon onion powder
- 1 tablespoon ground cumin
- 12 oz lager
- 4 pounds pork shoulder
Instructions
- Press "saute" and pour oil into the Instant Pot
- Add the pork shoulder.
- Add brown sugar, salt, garlic powder, smoked paprika, black pepper, onion powder and ground cumin and stir.
- Pour the lager into the Instant Pot.
- Close the lid and cook on high pressure for 20 minutes.
- When cooking time is complete, wait for a natural pressure release.
- Take out the pork, and shred the meat using two forks.
- Fill the tacos, add your favorite toppings and enjoy 🙂
