DIY Asprin Facials

Here are some ways to make a DIY aspirin face masks:

~Crush the aspirin tablets into a fine powder using a mortar and pestle or a spoon. Mix the crushed powder with honey and water in a bowl to form a paste. Apply the paste to your face using clean fingertips, avoiding the eye area. Leave the mask on for 10-15 minutes. Rinse the mask off with warm water, and pat dry.

~Mix thyme essential oil, beer yeast, sweet almond oil and aspirin in a clean cup. Apply this mixture on your face with a cotton. Keep this mixture on your face for 15-20 minutes. Rinse with cold water or wet towel.

~Mash up 6-12 non-coated aspirins and combine with freshly squeezed lemon juice. Let the aspirin dissolve until it turns into a paste. Apply the mask to your skin and leave it on for 10 minutes. Remove the face mask by dipping a cotton round in some baking soda and some water.

~Use ¼ teaspoon of Salicylic acid or crush 3-5 tablets of plain aspirin tablets in a bowl. Now add one teaspoon of water to make a paste. Now apply the face mask all over your face. Now sit back for 15 minutes. Finally rinse it off with warm water, and then pat dry your face. Best time to apply: Once in morning and once in evening.

~Add the aspirin to the water. Wash and dry your face. Crush the aspirin and form a paste. Apply to clean skin and leave it on for a few minutes. Finally, rinse with warm water and dry.

Aspirin contains salicylic acid, which is a powerful exfoliant that can help unclog pores and reduce inflammation. So remember to use a good hyaluronic acid serum and a good moisturizer after these masks. They can be drying but very effective. I love doing the thyme and almond oil.
