Another DIY Pumpkin Face Mask

DIY Pumpkin Face Mask

Pumpkin is nourishing for all skin types, particularly environmentally damaged or sensitive skin. High in Vitamin A (skin healing), Vitamin C (anti-oxidant), and zinc, the pumpkin soothes, moisturizes and acts as a carrier, assisting the other mask ingredients to absorb deeper into the skin and intensifying the results. Give your skin this healing mask for a healthy glow!

You will need:
1/2 cup cooked or canned pumpkin, pureed
1 tsp honey (regenerative, moisturizing)
1 tsp milk, dairy or soy (enzymes digest dead skin cells)

Optional Ingredients:
For dry skin - 1 tsp brown sugar (exfoliates, moisturizes)
For oily skin - ¼ tsp apple cider (promotes skin circulation, regulates pH)

Combine ingredients and apply to face, avoiding the eye area. Let mask sit for 10-15 minutes before rinsing with warm water. Follow with moisturizer.

Please use at your own discretion. All recipes and tips have been compiled from personal experience or other sources when noted. Enjoy!
