Stay Beautiful with These Homemade Beauty Recipes!

Ok, so my 2 best friends and I have been experimenting lately with natural home-made beauty recipes, and to tell you the truth…I prefer them to store-bought products! Here are the best recipes that we came across:

• For oily skin: mash one banana, add 1 tablespoon of honey, and approximately 10 drops of lemon juice. Mix everything and apply it on your face for 15 minutes. Then, rinse it with lukewarm water.

• For dry skin, I have 2 recipes for you:
o 2 tablespoons of honey, 2 tablespoons of melted cocoa butter, and if you want, you can add 1 or 2 drops of lavender oil for a nice smell. For best results, you will have to apply it twice. On your 2nd application, simply put the mixture in the microwave to soften it up.
o 3 tablespoons of avocado, 1 teaspoon of honey, 50ml of orange juice, and a few drops of essential oil (i.e. lavender or chamomile). Mix everything and apply it for about 30 minutes and then rinse with lukewarm water.

• For all skin types: if you would like to cleanse and revitalise your skin, simply mix 1 tablespoon of oatmeal, 1 tablespoon of natural and unflavoured yogurt, and half a teaspoon of honey. Apply it for 10 minutes and then rinse with cool water.

• For puffy eyes, I have 2 tips for you:
o Use ice-cold spoons. Make sure you always have a few spoons in your freezer for when you wake up a little earlier than usual, and your eyes are getting back at you…we all have those mornings!
o Use chamomile bag or green tea bags. You can either soak them in cold water, or you can put them in hot water and then let them cool down in the fridge.
