It goes wonderfully with the classic and irresistible tahini garlic sauce, which is a very good source of copper and manganese, and a good source of  calcium , magnesium, iron, phosphorus,  vitamin B1 , and  zinc . For the tahini sauce: 1 garlic clove, cut in half, green shoots removed Salt to taste 1/3 cup sesame tahini 2 to 4 tablespoons fresh lemon juice (more to taste) 1/3 cup water Aleppo pepper or red pepper flakes for sprinkling For the broccoli: 1 to 1 1/2 pounds broccoli crowns 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil Salt and freshly ground pepper to taste 1.  In a mortar and pestle mash the garlic cloves to a purée with a generous pinch of salt. The chicken breast is a great source of protein that your body needs for muscle recovery, so that you are making faster progress while keeping your energy up. The apple is the reason why it's better to eat this snack after your workout. It contains sugar and carbs that turn into blood sugar during the process of digestion. If you want to keep your body at a healthy level you don't really want to spike your insulin levels, but if you do, the best time is after your workout, when your body can use the glucose from your blood for energy instead of storing it as fat. Don't get me wrong, having some healthy levels of body fat is important, but make sure to get the fat out of healthy fats rather than from carbs. PERFECT GREEN JUICE RECIPE  Recipe sourced from  The Food Matters Recipe Book . Ingredients 3 organic sticks celery 1 lebanese cucumber (peeled if not organic) 2 stems kale 1/4 fennel bulb 1 lemon, peeled 1 green apple (peeled if not organic) 1/2 slice of ginger, peeled Tools You'll Need A cold-pressed or centrifugal juicer. Method Put all ingredients through your juicer. Strain through your sieve to remove all residual pulp. Have straight away but sip slowly and enjoy. Special Note:  This juice is an excellent source of easily digestible alkaline minerals, such as potassium which is particularly helpful when cleansing. Make sure to get your celery organic if nothing else, as conventional celery is renowned for being heavily laden with chemical residues

LOUISIANA HOT CRAB DIP Ingredients: 1/2 pound jumbo lump crabmeat, free of shells  1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese 1/2 cup mayonnaise  1/4 cup grated Pa rmesan  3 tablespoons minced green onions (white and green parts)  2 large garlic cloves, minced  2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce  2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice 1 teaspoon hot sauce  1/2 teaspoon Old Bay seasoning Salt and pepper to taste  Directions: Preheat oven to 325 degrees F. Combine all of the ingredients in a casserole dish and gently stir until thoroughly mixed. Adjust seasoning to taste. Bake for 35 to 40 minutes until lightly golden on top. Serve hot. Serve hot, with hot sauce on the side for those who like it spicy. Makes about 1 1/2 cups
