Egg Fast Day #5

Image
Breakfast 11:00 am . I took my leftover  Cheese Quiche  and ate a third of what I made on  Day 4  (halved the original recipe). I fried it a little bit, without adding any more butter, as the Quiche is buttery enough (which is awesome) already. Snack 1:45 pm . As I fell in love with my version of  Cloud Cake  on  Day 4 , I decided to make it again, this time with all of the 4 oopsie rolls I had left sitting in the fridge. Again, I put  matcha green tea  powder (instead of coffee) in the topping (made of 1 Tbsp butter, 1-ounce cream cheese, and  sweetener ). Lunch 4:00 pm .  Used 3 leftover boiled eggs, and made  Egg Salad that I had on  Day 2 , using 3 eggs and 2 Tbsp of sugar-free mayo. Again, I nuked an ounce of cheddar in the microwave to make cheese crisps. By now, I’ve had 7 eggs, 6 Tbsp of fat, and 6 ounces of cheese. Still, need to fit in a Tbsp of fat at dinner time. I’ve only had three meals to...

Day 3 started with me  getting up earlier than normal. So I am about to get in a upper body workout in by Bodyrock with Lisa. A hour long. I will be a sweaty mess. I am so thankful that in my fridge was a bowl full of boiled eggs and and a  container of cream cheese muffins. So about the coffee,  I actually drink it black now most of the time . I try too.. So here is the breakdown of Egg Fast Diet Plan Day 3 6:45am  – A big ASS cup of black coffee.    Now to begin my workout. Boiled Eggs with butter 8:30am  – 3 boiled eggs chopped topped with 2 tbsp butter.  I microwaved for 30 seconds to warm it a bit.  It was actually quite divine. 12:30pm –  3 cream cheese muffins.  These were the  muffins that I made yesterday on Day 2.   With my muffin pan, 3 muffins = 2 eggs, 2 cheese and 2 fat.  So happy to have those in the fridge for these emergency situations. 5:30pm  – Oopsie bread with ...

Egg Fast Menu – Day 2 Morning Latte 7am  – same as yesterday, my version of Bullet Proof Coffee made with 2 cups (16 ounce) of coffee, 1 tbsp each of coconut oil and butter, dash cinnamon and dash pink salt.  I throw it all in my BULLET Rx to make my morning latte.  I drank this while I wrote a few blogposts. 9:30am  3 Cream cheese muffins.  Cream cheese muffins!   For now, here is the quick & dirty : Melt 4 ounces cream cheese and 4 tbsp butter on medium heat in a  glass measuring cup in the microwave until soft. Using a whisk, whip a pinch of  vanilla powder , a dash of cinnamon, 4 eggs and the equivalent of 2 teaspoons sweetener into the glass measuring cup.  Pour batter into 6 muffin tins.  Bake at 325 for about 45 minutes. (I use  silicone muffin tins  because no cooking spray required) 1:30pm  – Devilled Eggs.  3 eggs cut in half.  Remove yo...

EGG FAST DAY #1

So I decided to try this egg fast to get into Keto one more time. Keto really does not work well with mel. All the dairy and break outs. This time organic all the way. I am going to sneak in greens for lunch. But here we go. Egg Fast Menu Day 1 7:30am:   16 ounces coffee with 1 tbsp coconut oil and 1 tbsp butter.  Put in the blender with a dash of cinnamon and a dash of pink himalayan salt. Blend until frothy. My Morning Latte! Cooked my breakfast and made my lunch, both of which I carry to work with me in my insulated lunch bag. Note:  Salt is extremely important on the egg fast!  Use it liberally!  I choose  Pink Himalayan salt  because it is abundant in minerals. 10:00am:  3 egg omelette with  2ounces cream cheese and a squirt of  sriracha sauce , salt Cream Cheese Omelette with Sriracha and pepper.  I used 1 tbsp butter for cooking in the pan. This is easily my favorite egg fast breakfast.   ...
