White,Gold and Purple Eyes-Pretty

  1. Prime your eye area with a colorless primer or one that is a color that’s similar to your skin tone. This will help keep your eye shadow stay put as you dance the night away! The one I’m using here is Too Faced Shadow Insurance.
  2. For your highlight, use a matte cream color like Inglot E/S Matte in “351″ (see my eye makeup map if you’re not yet familiar with these terms).
  3. Using a dense eye shadow brush, pack on a shimmery white color on the center lid to inner corner, just below your crease. Also apply this color on your tear duct. I used Inglot E/S AMC Shine in “35″.
  4. Now flip to the other side of the same dense eye shadow brush. Pick up some shimmery gold eye shadow, and apply it on the center lid, blending where it meets the shimmery white color. Also apply this gold eye shadow on your entire lower lash line. The one I’m using is Inglot E/S AMC Shine in “27″.
  5. Place a pop of a matte eggplant purple color (like Make Up For Ever E/S in “92″) on the outer forth of your lid, just inside the outer V. Blend where it meets the gold by lightly patting some gold eye shadow where it meets the purple.
  6. Apply a dark brown color on the outer V, and blend it lightly along your crease so that it fades. I used Inglot AMC E/S in “52″.
  7. Line your upper lash line with a black liquid or gel liner. Here I used my matte black Inglot AMC Eyeliner Gel in “77″ for the first time. You can also add a wing like I did here — click here for more details on the winged/cat eyeliner technique.
  8. Curl your lashes and apply mascara to both your upper and lower lashes. I used Make Up For Ever Aqua Smoky Lash Waterproof Extra Black Mascara (two coats on top lashes) and Clinique Bottom Lash Mascara in “01 Black” (one coat on bottom lashes)
