Yoga is well-known for its ability to release the mind from the stress that we endure throughout our daily lives; but what most don't know is the lesser known physical benefit of yoga—the yoga glow.
  • Non-surgical "lift": Deep, yogic breaths can release toxins from the body at a rate of about four to five times than normal breath. Ergo, yoginis leave class a little less weighed down by physical and mental waste. 
  • A natural botox: Deep breathing literally sends signals to the brain to calm down, so those stress lines in the face relax a little as your body responds—and you appear more serene.
  • Hormones balanced: Yoga works the body to balance its subtle energies which are said to correspond to endocrine glands and hormones. Balanced energies and hormones beam outward leaving you more poised.
  • Radiate confidence: Yoga can cause a major shift in attitude. That shift can build confidence, and as we’ve heard many times before, radiating confidence is attractive!
It won't happen overnight, but at the very least—after a class or two—you'll leave feeling a couple of the benefits right away: A little sweat on your brow and the first drops of a long-lasting, beautiful yoga glow.
