Take Advantage of Beauty Sleep-creams,pillows and hair

With the right products, you can wake up looking better than ever.

How to make the most of your beauty sleep – yes, it’s real!

Trina Coccarelli
“I need my beauty sleep.” As it turns out, this phrase, which is often spoken with a hint of pretention or a dash of sarcasm, has some basis in fact. Sleeping Beauty may have been on to something after all! In fact, there are certain tricks you can try to make the most of your snoozes and wake up looking your best.
In 2010, Swedish researchers asked volunteers to rate photographs of people that obtained different amounts of sleep. The researchers wanted to know whether the volunteers thought  they were more or less attractive. People who were well-rested were rated as more attractive.
“Sleep deprived people are perceived as less attractive, less healthy and more tired compared with when they are well rested,” the study authors reported in their paper.
Here’s how you can make the most of the hours after you hit the pillow.
Stack the pillows. If you tend to wake up with puffy eyes, try sleeping on your back with your head and neck elevated. This will allow the fluid that can gather around your eyes to drain downward. Thank you, gravity!
Slather on the cream. Nighttime is the perfect time to hydrate dry skin and fill in fine lines on your face. Thick hand and foot cream is perfect for bedtime, since it’s not feasible to wear this during the day. Unless you want to slip and slide around in your shoes all day, that is. I’ve done that. I really don’t recommend it. Don’t forget other dry spots like elbows and knees, too. Slather lotion on your feet and put socks on for extra-soft skin in the morning.
You can also wear a thicker face cream at night, since you don’t have to worry about how it looks. Take advantage of this time to wear a super-hydrating lotion like Hydroxatone AM/PM Anti-Wrinkle Complex, which has hyaluronic acid. Hyaluronic acid attracts water into the skin, thus smoothing the look of  fine lines and wrinkles. Your face will thank you in the morning.
Smooth your strands. Nighttime is also ideal for restoring your hair’s health. You can apply a thick conditioning treatment that you might not be able to wear out in public. Allowing it to soak in for a good eight hours will give you the best results – just make sure the product doesn’t recommend rinsing after a shorter period of time.
Beauty sleep isn’t just for Disney princesses. In fact, it’s an optimal time to make the most of your beauty products so you wake up feeling and looking better than ever.

My next review HYDROXATONE AM/PM Ant Wrinkle Complex.
